It's nice to meet you! My name is Aditya Das, and I'm currently a product design intern at Volta Health and a sophomore at Yale University studying Computing and the Arts.

In my free time, you can catch me producing music, rock climbing, scrolling through Are.na, DJing, playing Magic: the Gathering, drafting Substacks I'll never post, committing to bits, doing laundry, organizing my playlists, and staring at the ceiling.

The fastest I've ever fallen in love was when I was fourteen. I had just downloaded Procreate on my iPad and had searched up a YouTube tutorial on how to draw. From that moment on, I was hooked. Over time, my novice digital sketches turned into oil paintings, and those oil paintings turned into posters, and those posters led me into the open arms of user experience design.

While I discovered design through making art, I soon began to see it more abstractly as a way of solving problems. Having been deeply involved in mechanical engineering throughout high school, I found that designers and engineers often approach challenges in similar ways: researching, then brainstorming, then prototyping. I began to look at my own design through both an artistic and technical lens, ensuring that my work draws from the best of both the worlds I love.

I am now majoring in Computing and the Arts at Yale University, where I continue to explore these intricate and varied intersections of design and engineering. Whether it's making a book, building a VR game, or designing an app for a client, I strive to craft experiences that not only are intuitive and accessible, but delightful and exciting. I always work with love, creativity, and care. ✿
